In 2018 I was approached by Mixed Palette Inc., a disability-led arts group based in Rockingham, to digitally record and edit a series of art skills development sessions. The sessions featured visual artist Kate Leslie undertaking a series of art demonstrations at their Rockingham art studio. The final videos were to feature in Mixed Palette’s Flourishing: Online Art Workhops series for artists of varying abilities, via Youtube and Facebook.

The videos featured footage of Kate undertaking art demonstrations, including close-ups, as well as images of final artworks.

My Key Roles
  • Digitally record and edit 8 x art skills development sessions and 3x short introductory and tip videos, including insertion of titles and photographs
  • Photographic documentation of final artworks for inclusion in digital videos
Key Outcomes
  • A series of professional digital-media videos for use on various online platforms – namely Youtube and Facebook – including :
    • 8 x skills development sessions, from 25 to 40 minutes length each
    • 3 x short introductory and tip videos, approx. 3 to 5 minutes each

What my clients say

“Susie has been a part of the Mixed Palette Inc family for many years through her role with Nulsen and the yearly ‘As We Are’ art exhibition. Her respect and passion for the arts and artists from all backgrounds and abilities gave our group the confidence in her to film and produce our ‘Flourishing’ online art tutorials. Susie is very professional and easy to communicate with which made working with her an absolute joy. Thank you Susie!!”
